Q. There are no Mission of Peace National Corporation (MOPNC) affiliate offices in my area. How do I get an affiliate office started?
A. In order to begin the process of becoming a MOPNC affiliate agency, you will begin by reviewing the requirements and completing our Affiliate Agency application form that can be found on our website or requested by mail from our offices.
Q. Does my affiliate agency office need to be handicap accessible?
A. Yes. MOPNC requires affiliate agency offices to be handicap accessible. If the office is not handicap accessible, a plan must be in place to service clients who have special accessibility needs.
Q. There is already a MOPNC affiliate agency in my city. Can I apply to open another office to accommodate more people in need?
A. Yes. MOPNC does allow multiple agencies in a given area, based on the housing counseling needs of that target community.

A. MOPNC has a qualified staff of speakers available to do presentations at community events, workshops, and meetings. MOPNC can develop a customized presentation to meet the needs of your audience.

Q. I am having difficulty working with my financial institution. Can Mission of Peace National Corporation assist me in making future arrangements with them?
A. MOPNC cannot guarantee any results as the final decision is between the home owner and the financial institution. MOPNC does have certified housing counseling specialists that will act as an advocate on your behalf. MOPNC housing specialists will provide education and work with you to achieve your financial goals.
Q. What is the time-frame for a client to be ready for home for home ownership once counseling with Mission of Peace National Corporation begins?
A. There is no typical time-frame for a client to be ready for home ownership. This varies based on the individual’s specific situation. The certified housing counseling specialist will meet with you to design a customized action plan to meet your desired goal.
Q. I am looking for financing for purchasing a new home. Can Mission of Peace National Corporation help me with this?
A. MOPNC does not provide financing for the purchase of a home. We can prepare you for home ownership by providing education on acquiring proper financing, identifying key players involved in purchasing a home, as well as education on the closing process and home maintenance after purchase.
