Client Services – Services for Renters
Mission of Peace National Corporation provides a variety of services to renters, ranging from financial literacy to emergency assistance referrals, and even nutrition and lifestyle counseling. MOPNC programs available for renters include:
• The Renters Counseling Program, which helps families and individuals maintain safe, affordable, permanent and reliable rental housing.
• The Michigan State Emergency Relief (SER) Program. MOPNC’s knowledgeable staff assists renters in arranging utility and energy payments.
• The Home Buyer’s Club, a twice monthly meeting for renters interested in future home ownership, or even simply obtaining a strong financial education.
• The Budget and Credit Counseling Program, conducted one-on-one with highly-trained counselors, working together with renters to discuss solutions, set goals and increase renters understanding of their personal finances.
• Life is about more than finances, and to that end, MOPNC offers the LifeSkills Assistance Program, geared toward helping renters with life skills, nutrition, eating well on a budget, chronic disease prevention and others.
